Gretchen Yost is a resident of Pinedale, Wyoming and has been exploring the Wind River mountains since 1998. A former ranger in the Bridger Wilderness, Gretchen now spends her backcountry time adventuring with her husband and two daughters, passing along Wilderness ethics to the next generation.
Hank Williams has been extremely fortunate with opportunities to climb and hike in these mountains for over 40 years. He is a strong advocate for responsible land use, wilderness ethics and protecting the outstanding qualities that make the Wind River Range such a tremendous resource. He encourages fellow visitors to understand the importance of being properly educated and prepared before stepping in the backcountry.
